Electroplated gold provides excellent electrical conductivity and contact reliability in electronics, plus corrosion-resistant aesthetics in decorative applications. 24-carat pure gold or gold-cobalt/gold-nickel alloys available.
Thickness: flash gold 0.1–0.5 µm for contacts, 0.5–2 µm decorative, 2–5 µm for aerospace. Nickel barrier layer prevents gold diffusion. Standard: DIN EN ISO 4521 / MIL-DTL-45204.
Rose gold is a gold-copper alloy with a warm pink-gold tone, highly sought in premium product design, watches, jewellery and architectural fittings. The Cu/Au ratio determines the shade from light rose to deep red gold.
Gold content 18–22%, specific Pantone/RAL colour matching on request. Nickel barrier layer recommended. Thickness 0.1–3 µm.
Bronze (copper-tin alloy) is used for industrial contact surfaces, printing forms and architectural decoration. The composition determines the colour from warm yellow to dark brown.
Bronze has natural antimicrobial properties and is used in medical accessories and public areas. Thickness 1–20 µm, hardness HV 100–150.
Antique bronze creates an aged, vintage surface through targeted oxidation and patination. Door handles, stair railings, lighting and design furniture are main applications.
Process: bronze plating → chemical patination → clear coat. The three-step process protects against environmental influences. UV-stabilised clear coat offers ≥10 years of colour stability.
