Can aluminum components be chrome plated?

Yes. Through our specialized pre-treatment (zincate activation and barrier nickel strike), aluminum components achieve ultra-adherent bright or hard chrome layers in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1456.

What is the advantage of electroless nickel over electrolytic nickel?

Electroless nickel deposits autocatalytically with 100% thickness uniformity. Internal bores, deep recesses, and threads achieve identical plating thickness without edge-buildup.

Are your finishes compliant with RoHS and REACH regulations?

Yes. Our conversion processes (SurTec 650) along with our nickel, chrome, and PVD technologies conform strictly to European environmental guidelines (RoHS and REACH, hexavalent-chromium-free upon request).
